About the Associate Vice President Academics
The Associate Vice President Education is responsible for aiding in the efforts of advocacy for students. They write policy with OUSA and for the SGA to ensure that SGA operations are guided and meeting the needs of students institutionally and provincially. On a day to day basis, they support students by working behind the scenes in working groups and on events to ensure that the needs of students are advocated for. They are also involved in student inquiries regarding unfair grading or grade appeals.
Why would I contact the Associate Vice President Academics?
Students may contact the AVP Academics to discuss grade appeals, questions or concerns about student advocacy, and with provincial concerns related to the current OUSA policy.
