FEES & FINANCES

How SGA Fees Support Student Services

The SGA collects membership fees from students to support the operations, services, programs, and initiatives provided by the organization as a student-led, not-for-profit association. There are two types of fees: mandatory fees and optional fees. Optional fees allow students to choose whether they wish to contribute during registration. The type and amount of fees collected depend on a student’s status, including whether they are enrolled as a full-time or part-time student. SGA fees are separate from the incidental fees collected by Laurentian University.
