Health & Dental Plan
The health and dental plan provides benefits to all full-time SGA/AGÉ students attending Laurentian University and to part-time and online students who choose to opt-in. These benefits are specifically designed with students in mind and are updated on a yearly basis.
U-Pass
The student associations at Laurentian University (SGA & GSA) work together with the City of Greater Sudbury to provide students with a discounted bus pass during the school year (September to April).
Graduation Photos
Food Bank
We offer on-campus graduation portraiture, in the Student Centre, through JORO Photography. SGA/AGÉ members do not pay a session fee and receive 15% off their print package order. Everything from scheduling sessions, to reviewing proofs and ordering prints can be done through their website.
The Food Bank is an emergency food access point for students. Like most food banks, it is intended to provide supplemental support during times of urgent need. This service is free for students and is meant to be used as a short-term emergency resource, not on a long-term basis.
Previously operated by the SGA, the Food Bank is now managed by Laurentian University. Students can now access this service directly through the link below.
Student Centre Members Only Area
The members only area in the Student Centre is located downstairs and is only accessible to SGA/AGÉ students. This area is filled with amenities including technologically equipped study and lounge spaces, game equipment, a clubs room, microwave, printer, lockers, and more! Use your student card to access this VIP area!
