Meet Shaharia Jalal Mim
Hi! I am Shaharia, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing at Laurentian University and am entering my fourth year of studies. I am proud to serve as the Vice-President Student Life for the 2026–2027 academic year, marking my second term with the SGA. Since arriving at Laurentian, I have been actively involved in student engagement, volunteering closely with the International Office and helping organize events and initiatives that bring students together and create a sense of belonging on campus. I believe that student life is what transforms the university experience into a story worth telling for years to come. As a student myself, I understand the realities of balancing deadlines, responsibilities, and campus involvement, which is why I am passionate about creating experiences that bring fun, connection, and a little extra joy to everyday campus life. Through my role, I hope to help students build lasting memories, discover new passions, and recognize their own potential. Above all, I hope to be a memory builder someone who helps create experiences, connections, and opportunities that students will carry with them long after graduation. Feel free to stop by and say hi anytime, I’m always up for a good chat!
